![]() ![]() For the characters that do appear, a level of care and empathy is always given to their character writing. Yet, it is sincere in the story it tells. It may not be a revolutionary artistic vision - the commentary on fate through the linearity of the medium is nothing new and then throw in a dash of bringing about change to an outdated old system. ![]() Then why exactly am I recommending this game if all of its parts are at best just OK? It would be because the sum of these elements are brought together by an artistic vision that is carried out to completion. Since I won't be playing it multiple times through, I do not think I'll be able to make comments on the intersection of different musical styles (which is a shame since I really want to try out the headstrong red trait and find out if it's more of a punk rock style as suggested.) But I don't think I'm that cultured to make anymore of a judgment of it. The art and animation are what they are - a stringed together slideshow of stills. ![]() It's coherent which sets it a good measure above the majority of "pick option for cutscene" games out there however, it's not good enough to compare to the better echelon of visual novels or actually good western story-related games. ![]()
